We received a request from the mom of SPC Mehlmann to see if we could welcome home her son, well of course we can.

My son, Edward Mehlmann is on his way to Texas to be de-briefed before he comes home to Philly. He has been in Kandahar, Afghanistan since the beginning of June 2013.

Edward is in the Army and his rank is Spc (E-4).  He is a construction engineer where he was supposed to break down forts.  He also has been fixing roads and buildings.  He is a heavy equipment operator. His interests are Guns, Video Games and Movies (funny or military).  Before he left for boot camp in 2006, at which time he told me that he always wanted to be a soldier ever since he was a little boy.  When his squad got their first punishment and had to run laps and do push ups, he got into a little trouble when he said to the guy beside him that "this is so cool".

Oh and he loves Andy Capps hot fries.

Rally Time:       1900 (7:00 PM)

Rally Place        626 Borbeck  Ave, Philadelphia, PA.  19111

KSU:                1930 (7:30 PM)

RC:                 HOWARD K. (THANKS AS ALWAYS BROTHER)

We will do a Mug & Hug at the rally point, then escort our hero 4 blocks to the family home.

Is there at better address? I cannot find 626 Burholme anywhere. I've googled it, and nothing, and I actually live in that area.

That's what I'm seeing, and I live in Fox Chase. I live right around the corner from Jeanes hospital so I'm a little baffled. I know Burholme Ave. hopefully we get this figured out, especially for the guys not from the area. It's going to be a great day to get out to ride.
