We have been asked to show the love and treat a loved WW II & Korean War vet to a very special Mug & Hug by a very proud grandson.  He would like us to swing by the house as his grandpop is not doing well and he is looking to raise his spirits the only way we know how.

Heros' Name:  Elmer A.Wittkopp
Age: 88
Branch of Service: Navy
Service Time 1943
What did they do in the Service: I'm not 100% sure I know he typed and worked for the officers on board.
Rank:petty officer 1st class  on the USS California

When he was healthy enough to he loved golfing,bowling,going to Atlantic City,working on his lawn, and going to all his grand kids and great grand kids sporting events.

RALLY TIME:  11:15 AM

Riding to honor my father (Army, Korean War), great-great grandfather, Hezekiah Ports (Union Army, Civil War), Uncle George (Marines, Pacific, WW II),my son-in-law, Sgt Kevin Russell, served in Iraq and Afghanistan (Army), my fiance's cousin, L Wade Martin (Desert Storm, killed in training accident at Ft Bragg, Army), her uncle Bill Feister, US Navy from 62-66 and spent time in Viet Nam aboard the USS Lexington, and my good friend, Terry Boyer, who served in Vietnam with the Air Force.
