Esther and Len Wolfer are requesting our help for 5th Annual MSAWI-Support our Troops Day at Romath Orah Congregation in New York on Sunday March 23.  Many of you have done this mission in the past and you know how valuable our help is in packing the boxes for our troops. Last year we did about 500 boxes and enjoyed a Pizza lunch on site provided by our hosts.  It is an uplifting experience knowing your efforts are directly helping our deployed men and women overseas. If you haven't made this mission in the past, you might want to join us for a nice ride and a day of camaraderie.  Logistics are being finalized so we can all meet and ride into Manhattan together.  New York Police will block the street so we can park right outside the building.  Please post below so we can get a head count of those who will be joining in this important event.

Primary Rally Location:
Brian's Harley Davidson
600 South Flowers Mill Road  Langhorne, PA 19047

Rally Time: 9:30AM
KSU: 9:45AM

We'll be making stops at the Joyce Kilmer and Vince Lombardi rest stops on the NJ Turnpike.

RC: Gpopps has stepped up again to lead the way.  Thanks  Tim !

Below are the details as written in the first post of last years mission, which includes a description of who the Wolfer Family is, how we met them, and the work they do in honor of their son and brother Major Stuart Adam Wolfer;

Warriors' Watch Riders has received a request from Gold Star Parent's Len and Esther Wolfer to join them for their "Support Our Troops Day"!

We met this wonderful family through Kat Fialkowski's work with AWWC, and did this mission last year in Kat's honor. MSAWI is a member of AWWC and a sister group to AHW. They have been instrumental in the start-up of the Southeast Florida  AHW Chapter.

Esther founded The Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute. On April 6, 2008 Major Stuart Adam Wolfer was killed in the Green Zone, Baghdad, Iraq.  The Wolfer family will not allow Stuart’s voice to be silenced. The Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute (MSAWI) was established so that his legacy of leadership, commitment to his country and community service will continue to live on and to inspire future generations of children, adults and leaders.

The Institute is committed to supporting U.S. troops stationed overseas and domestically.  The Institute seeks to directly involve the community  in its mission so that those of us at home give of our most precious resource, our time.

THIS WAS A GREAT EVENT LAST YEAR! WE WERE ABLE TO STAY TOGETHER AS A GROUP THE ENTIRE WAY TO OUR DESTINATION, AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY PEOPLE YANKING OUT THEIR SMART PHONES TO VIDEO A GROUP OF MOTORCYCLES. PLEASE COME OUT AND HELP US SUPPORT THIS MISSION!

A large portion of the street will be made available for us. Parking will be available free of charge for all bikes and some cages.

An American Soldier is someone who, at some point in their life, wrote out a check, payable"to the United States of America" for the sum total of up to and including my life." We as citizens of those same United States owe them no less than unconditional support.

This will be the third year we have had the opportunity to participate in this event, and it is a very worthy cause indeed. Please see the link below to the Forum's thread from last year. In last years thread you can also find a link to our first years thread.
