This is a letter we received from  proud Air Force Mom Dianne Beck.
My son Michael Beck, is in  the Airforce. He served in Iraq from 10/2009 to 2/2010. I would have loved to have done a “hero’s welcome home’ for him back then  but he had an accident while on base in Dover which prevented him from coming home and when he did come home, he was recovering for months. My question is, is there anything your organization can do to welcome him now?  He’s currently stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi and will be leaving to come home soon.  Thanks for all you do!

Well Dianne, We would love to welcome your son Michael home and let him know how much we appreciate his service.

This is out by both our Maria and Tim's neck of the woods so I'm also inviting ECPA people who feel like taking a nice ride.  This is 60 miles or a little less than an hour and fifteen minutes  from Brians HD, yes it's a hike,  but , we can make the effort since Mike certainly made the effort to serve his country in Iraq.  We will meet at the rally point and then roll up on the house party  where Mike thinks everyone is there only to celebrate his son Mike Jr's  birthday. Let's do this!

Rally Time 1:30 PM
Rally Place : Church lot at intersection of Orchard Rd and Hill Church Rd. Be careful  Orchard is named Franklin at a lower point on the map.  Address is 620 Hill Church Rd Boyertown PA 19512.  GPS will show that address is  down the street but it is at the "T "intersection.  Please move to rear of lot as workers will be decorating the church that day.
KSU : 1:55 arrive house 2PM

RC : HowardK   Thanks Howard, always there for our Heroes!

Great job today Howard.. it was a mission we won't forget! Glad the weather was still good.. i can't even imagine that driveway in the snow!!!!

Here is a thank you note from Mike's Mom, Dianne Beck:

Maria, Lee and Howard;

There are not enough words to thank you for what you did today.  To not only Honor Mike, but also my step dad who was a Korean War Veteran-that was amazing to see!  Charlie had never been Honored by anyone for his service before-I could tell he was very grateful!  Mike…he was speechless he told me later. He was overwhelmed and happy. He didn't know what to say to thank you all.  Mike said he has heard of the Hero’s Welcome, but didn't know anyone that actually had this welcome home.  It was truly an amazing sight to see.

As some of you know, Mike was looking out the living room window when the Warriors Watch pulled up.  Mike asked me who they were, and what was going on.  I said I had no idea.  He ran for his gun and told me to stay back!  Happy he wanted to protect us…. I told him he didn't need his gun, that they were here for him. He said, “me”???? what’s going on .  I said get your coat and go out and see…He was  totally surprised!  Thank you all and God Bless each and every one of you.  You’re doing an amazing thing for our Hero’s!

In HIS grip,

The Beck Family
