Jane Deshotel has asked Warriors' Watch Riders to give her husband the welcome home he never got.

Patchn' Dan is a well-known part of the biker community here in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.  If you have a vest with patches, there's a good chance one of those patches was sewn on by Dan Deshotel.

Dan and his dad were the only father and son ever to have served on the same ship at the same time (USS Hassayampa).

Son retired from the Navy/Navy Reserve after 22 years.

Dad served in WWII with Patton through North Africa, Italy and Germany. 2 Purple Hearts, 2 Bronze Stars

I stand for both of them and the rest that cannot stand.
