The Warriors’ Watch Riders would like to announce the following upcoming mission:

For those of you coming to the Concord staging, will be chilly.Dress accordingly,
And be very careful on the road when riding.

We again will support the WAA @ Presidio Event.Such a great Program to be part of.
we will stand a Flag Line at the Ceremony , The Huey ( 25th Infantry) will again do
The Fly-Over.  If some of you cannot make staging in Concord, Please go to the
2nd Staging Area and Times. Its again an Honor to have WWR on the committee for
The Presidio. The Presidio Cemetery is one of our oldest National Cemeteries in the
State.Among the 30,000 Americans laid to rest there are Civil War Generals, Buffalo
Soldiers, approx. 35 Medal Of Honor Recipients. Such Generals as Pershing & Funston,
Funston has a Street named after him on the Post as well as a Fort. Also Major Crissy,
Again Crissy Field.Pvt. William Thompkins,10th Cav. And Capt. Charles Young, 9th Cav.
Both better known as “ Buffalo Soldiers”. I also believe that the 1st Burial was in 1854.
If you cannot make the Presidio ,then I encourage you to attend a Ceremony close to
Where you live. You can go online to find a Cemetery nearest you. Both National and
Some Private Cemeteries are listed on the Wreaths Across America Website.
