STANDOWN Our warrior could not make it back to Cary for the Holiday. WOUNDED WARRIOR PFC JAMES ROBERT CLINTON II Mother's Day 2011 is not one Dr. Diane Clinton will ever forget. Her son, PFC James Robert Clinton II was shot inside an armored vehicle by one of our Afghani "allies". Young James has endured medical and personal challenges, but this Christmas we're going to give him the one thing he never got, the one thing that only we, American patriots can give him: A hero's welcome. Please come out and help us give James Robert Clinton II the rock star treatment he deserves. ALL ARE WELCOME, 2 wheels or 4. James' family has a long and proud military history. His grandfather, after whom he was named served in the Army in the 1950's and 60's. His dad, Richard served in the Army from 1987 until he left active duty in 1994 as a Captain. James' great-grandfather on his mother's side was awarded a Bronze Star in 1945, his mom (Diane) is an active supporter of military families. WHEN: WHERE: Three Oaks School, 1514 3 Oaks Road, Cary Illinois 60013 RIDE BRIEF: DEPARTURE: We will pick up our hero at his mom's house and escort them a short way to his favorite pizzeria. Welcome home James, Welcome home! Serving our country has taken you so far away…but your place at home is always filled with love and pride! So you’re probably wondering how we felt about you serving your country. Let’s put in in a language you understand… Tanks!! All Across our country, our flag still waves, it’s heart and soul stronger than ever. And beneath it’s proud colors, America stands together….because of you! Defending this great land sometimes means traveling to faraway places and sacrificing personal time and independence in order to make a better life for all. Thank you for serving your country! Waving the red, white, and blue…in honor of you!! |
