On January 21, 2011 One of our own, Mike Mikos, lost his battle with cancer. Mike was Pamster's companion, a Patriot, a friend to all, and a WWR member. Although he had struggled with his illness the whole time he was with us, he always had a good word to say, a big smile, and a hug for everyone.

We have been requested to give Mike a ride to his final resting place. This will be his last ride on two wheels.

It is with great honor that we all escort Mike. I am sure he is riding with all of us on these missions. He would be SO proud of his little Pam, she is a real biker now!! He is sadly missed. Go Bears.

Rest in peace, Mike.  I hope I can join you for your ride.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.

I would like to think this is not Mike's last ride, but rather that he and others who have gone before are riding constantly, finding all the really cool roads to show us when we too get to Region 7.

So it's not "Goodbye", it's "See ya later..  Ride Safe.."
