In many ways Mountain Bill epitomized the typical WWRider. He was with us in the beginning, he made the Big Crossover from Yellow&Blue to Black and Gold along with the original "25" Warriors' Watch founders. He was a Patriot, a loving father and an ex-Philadelphia Police Officer. He made all the rides, long and short, except for periods where serious health issues stopped him, or when he was doting on his beloved son.

We had furious arguments about the best direction of WWR "policy," which were always followed, sooner or later, by ferocious bear-hugs. Anyone who has been in receipt of one of those man-hugs knows what I mean.

Bill was a Mountain of a Man, a man whose physical size belied his human frailities. Dear God, he will be missed.

We are requesting that, at least in SOUTHEAST PA, All Warriors' Watch Patches, large and small, be crossed with black ribbon or cloth or tape, from now until 3 days after the funeral, details of which we still do not have of course.
