The WWR has been asked to honor one of our own, Mike Mikos. Mike Mikos has lost his battle with cancer. He left us on Friday. Many of you know Mike as Pam Eddy's husband. They have been together for over a decade. Mike and Pam have been members of the WWR and been with us on many missions over the last year. Mike's family is requesting a flag line for his visitation on Monday from 3 to 9pm at the funeral home. Stop by if you can and give your condolences. Stay awhile if you can and be part of the flag line. Mike's family is asking for Mike to be escorted from the funeral home to the church where his service will be held. Departure from the funeral home will be on Tuesday 1/25 at 9:30am. All are welcome to stay for the church service. The Internment will be private. Pam & Tom,Please accept my deepest condolence. I regret that Mike and I didn't have more oppurtunity tto talk about what we had in common. I though about Mike often and am glad I was privileged enough to know him if only briefly. Mike fought his battle with courage and dignity and I will try to emulate those qualitys in my life. Pam please also know Kathy and I will be here for you in any small way we can. Don't hesitate to call. God bless you and your family. |

My and Our family would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Pam, Tom, and family and friends of Mike.
It is good to know our numbers and spirit will not be diminished as he is simply reassigned to Region 7 where he'll team up with JonD, Deb, Jake, Bluesman, Papa Joe, & Joey Braun to welcome our warriors (and one day all of us) to their final duty station.

Somehow, when I move a member to Region 7, it is no longer a sad thing to do, I am really beginning to love this concept. Mike's mission is not done, he's just been reassigned to a different region where we will all eventually go.
See ya later Mike!
