To the family and friends of Al "Bluesman," I am deeply sorry for your loss.  NEPA WWR has sent a good man to stand the flag line in Region 7.  May he ride in peace.

Thank you all for your support.  Mike has been blown away by the outpouring of affection for his best friend and brother!  He can't talk about Al and/or Carrie Ann's book or all of you without crying.  It has meant so much to him to know how much Al was respected, appreciated and loved.

Al's final ride is tentatively scheduled for Monday, August 2 - visitation starting at 10am at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, PA.

Some final details still need to be worked out, so please keep watch on this post.

This Funeral Director's only experience with bikers at a funeral was not a good one.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to honor our friend and show others our meaning of respect!

I hope Al knows how much we will miss him.

I hope they have chili for his welcome party.

I hope he is kicking back with Papa Joe, Jon D, and Stretch.

I was on my way home from Long Island when I stopped somewhere in north Jersey for lunch. It was then that I first heard the news. I had wanted to stop in and visit him, but wanted to wait till he was up to having a visit. Just yesterday I checked to see if he was ready, because I would have stopped by today. It was heartbreaking to find out it was too late. I got back on the bike to head home, and the skies opened up and cried buckets on me. All I could think of was all of Al's friends, weeping at the news of his passing. But then I remembered, I have yet another angel to watch over me. And as I crossed the bridge from NJ into PA in gale force winds, I wondered if Al was looking out for me. And then the storm cleared, and by the time I got home, my rain gear was mostly dry.

Thank you Al. Please keep an eye out for all of us.
