MISS ME - BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little - but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low,
remember the love that we once shared.
Miss me - but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan;
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go the friends we know
and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go!

Papa Joe you will be sadly missed by all, but I know JonD was at the door when you arrived in Heaven's Gate. Good men who left us too soon and will never be forgotten by those whose lives they touched.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Joe.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Papa Joe.  Though I never met him he was a brother of mine through the WWR.  He will never be forgotten.  I am sure Papa Joe is along side Jon D watching over all of us members.

Though I never met you Joe, I can see the love shared by those who've posted here.
If nothing else from me, thanks for the positivity that you obviously brought to others.
You and your family are in our prayers.

As most of you know, I homeschool Gracie and Gabriel.

I was just going over their week's work, and in Gracie's Language Arts workbook she had to write a "good sentence" using any noun. We haven't spoken of Papajoe since his passing, yet this is what she wrote today:

Papajoe went to heaven in a whirlwind.
