Rest in Peace Joe, God Bless you and your family and may he watch over them during this time. He will now be along side JonD and preparing all the welcomes in Region 7, never been in better hands.

My responsibility, our responsibility as lucky Americans, is to try to give back to this country as much as it has given us, as we continue our American journey together.

Papa Joe,

One of my fondest memories was when we were in PA at the Brick House and you met those new fire dept recruits.  You were like a little kid all excited while talking to them and giving them advice.  Damn I'm gonna miss you man!

I truly feel that I served in the United States Military to protect your freedom of speech.  I also feel this gives me the right to smack you square in the mouth for saying something stupid!

We are so heartbroken to hear about Papa Joe.

I don't know what else I could say about the man other than he inspired you to be a better person.
Anyone who didn't meet him has truly missed out.

Our heart and prayers go out to his family.

May God bless and comfort you all

With love

Just doesn't seem right not saying good morning to PaPa Joe...
So good morning buddy-I know you are watching over us and hear me talking to you.
And probably laughing at me and all the animals.
I love you.
